Project Name: Mini Melt-blown Nonwoven Lab Line

The mini melt-blown nonwoven lab line is a new type of laboratory equipment, which is designed and manufactured by our research department. We have been invested totally more than RMB 1,000,000 for the mini melt-blown nonwoven lab line, since 2005. And the mini melt-blown nonwoven lab line can be widely commercialized by 2007.

The distinguishing feature of the line is suitable for many kinds of materials, such as PP, PLA, PA and PET, etc. The motor operate on frequency conversion timing and fast testing and low raw material consumption. The minimum average diameter of fiber can be less than 1.0μm, and the normal fiber web is 8~ 200 g /m², and also the web thickness can be 200mm by special design. The web uniformity can reach extremely high level because of the special melt distribution and airflow distributing system.

At present, the mass melt-blown nonwoven production lines are widely used to produce filter non-woven products for medical and healthy field. However, as we know, the mini melt-blown nonwoven lab line, which has powerful experiment functions has not been exploited and utilized at home and abroad. Most of the researching work are at the stage of experiment and have not commercialized yet.

The mini melt-blown nonwoven lab line is consist of air compressor, air heating system, screw extruder of peculiar designed, filtration device, metering pump, assembled melt-blown die-head system, collecting device and winding machine, etc. And the whole line is controlled by industry computer or PLC system.

The fiber web uniformity is bound up with the design and manufacturing of die-head. In the melt-blown processing, our mini melt-blown nonwoven lab line adopts peculiar polymer melts distribution system to ensure the polymer melts can be flow uniformly along the length direction of the whole melt-blown die-head and also with same detention time. It laid the foundation to ensure the whole breadth have a high web uniformity. The design of drawing air channel is also very ingenious, that ensures the uniform speed and flowrate of injecting heated air along the length direction of the whole melt-blown die-head, so that obtained uniform meltblown fiber web.
